France 2008

A wonderful wine river cruise

This wonderful wine river cruise began in Marseille. We boarded the barge (Le Phenecien) in Nimes and toured along the Rhone and Petit Rhone rivers; visiting the towns and villages along the way. Good friends of ours from Vancouver joined us. The barge holds only 18 passengers and offers 5 star accommodations, food, wine and tours. After the cruise we visited the area of Bordeaux and then onto Paris for a few days of the sites and sounds of that wonderful city.
